Originally Indian but born and raised in Dubai, watching the city grow sparked my love for design. I started my career in Interior Architecture which then led me to Barcelona to study it further. There, I discovered my passion for visual and graphic design. I also fell in love with Barcelona and made it my home. Over the last three years, I've worked as a graphic designer for numerous global brands and was introduced to UX/UI design, realizing how UX principles can elevate the design process across various fields. This discovery inspired a career shift toward UX design, where I’m now focused and have contributed to many exciting projects. As an empathetic person, I love engaging with people and learning their perspectives. Blending empathy with design has brought me immense joy and fulfillment.
What is something you’re passionate about?
I have a passion for building communities through meaningful designs that positively impact people's lives. On a personal level, I'm passionate about music—I play several instruments and sing. I also have an interest in film-making, love capturing and creating short films during my travels. Art, in all its forms, fascinates me, and I’m always eager to explore its many aspects.
What's the most memorable piece of advice you've received, and how has it influenced your life?
During my decision of changing careers, an advice I’ve received is that change is always a challenge, but no matter how tough, it leads to growth. To achieve any goals it's important to approach every opportunity with care, passion, curiosity, and adaptability. This has always kept me motivated to keep learning and driven with purpose.
What do you value most in a new company, in a boss, or co-workers?
I highly value being part of a team that embraces new and progressive perspectives. It's essential for me to work in an environment where openness and innovation are encouraged. Additionally, I believe that fostering amiable relationships and building deeper connections with colleagues enhances collaboration and drives success. I see this collaborative spirit already present at MVST!
