Please Tell Us a Bit About Your Background
I come from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a historic city in the south of Spain on the coast of Cádiz. Since I was little, I have always been very curious which has led me to be interested in diverse fields. The arts have always sparked a great interest in me: I participated in a large number of theatrical and musical performances. Science equally attracted me! I loved understanding why and how things worked. That's why when I had to choose an academic career, I decided to study Biotechnology in Seville. It was there that I first came into contact with programming. I remember enjoying a lot while working on that first project that read DNA sequences and provided us with a full set of statistics. I completed my Biotechnology degree and decided to pursue my artistic side. I was a contemporary dance student for 4 years. I juggled my studies with work as a city and winery guide. I ended up working at Disneyland Paris for three seasons. Eventually, COVID arrived, and I had to return home. It was then that I decided to revisit programming and start studying it in depth. That's when I enrolled in the Software Development master's program offered by the Assembler Institute of Technology, where we worked on over 30 projects in a real work environment over the course of 7 months. I am currently eager to put everything I have learned into practice and continue my education in this field.
What Inspired You to Pursue a Career In the Software Industry?
The software industry has long attracted me due to its ability to combine my logical and creative backgrounds, allowing me to apply my scientific knowledge in innovative ways and put into action my artistic problem-solving skills. The convergence of these two aspects is what truly sparked my interest and led me to pursue a career in this field.
Moreover, the prospect of working remotely has always been a significant driving force behind my interest in the software industry. The idea of becoming a digital nomad and having the freedom to work from anywhere in the world has been a long-standing goal of mine.
What Do You Hope to Gain From Your Experience Working with Us?
Working for MVST will provide me with the opportunity to make the leap into the professional world and learn from a dynamic, youthful, and international work environment. I am eager to immerse myself in everything that MVST offers, from understanding how to approach diverse projects to developing them using the latest technologies. As a collaborative environment, I hope to become an integral part of the team and reach the same level of knowledge and skills as my colleagues. Furthermore, being part of a relatively young company, I aspire to contribute significantly to its growth and history, ultimately becoming a key player in its development.
I plan to become a key team member, someone reliable for the rest of the team. I really like being part of a bigger, united and committed group, and for that I will do everything in my hand to achieve it. I believe that communication is essential for the growth of a team. I plan to maintain active communication with the rest of the team, being supportive when needed and seeking support from my colleagues when necessary. And of course, I also hope to be a proactive team member with a strong desire to create and tackle new situations that require thinking outside the box.
