- Position: Product Designer
A small introduction about you ✨
I’m Iris, a Product Designer with a background in both engineering and visual design. Now calling Barcelona home after an exciting move from Turkey. Passionate about creating meaningful digital experiences, I excel at transforming complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions. I thrive on collaboration, growth, and turning ideas into impactful realities. When I’m away from the keyboard, you’ll likely find me urban sketching, crafting some sculptures, or exploring the city’s hidden gems—always with a cup of tea in hand.
What are your long-term career goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?
My goal is to keep growing as a designer while contributing to products that truly make a difference. In the long term, I aim to lead projects where creativity and strategy come together. I plan to achieve this by collaborating with diverse teams, continuous learning from every project, and staying open to innovation.
What do you do to provide yourself a good work-life balance?
For me, balance comes from a mix of structure and spontaneity. I set clear boundaries for work, but I also make time for activities that recharge me, like sketching, exploring new places, or diving into a board game session with friends. These moments keep my creativity and focus sharp.
What's something that you're passionate about?
I'm passionate about the thrill of creating something from scratch—whether it’s a product that solves a real problem or a sculpture from clay. There’s nothing quite like seeing an idea grow into something tangible that makes a difference. It’s this process of building and growing that keeps me inspired every day.
