Please tell us a bit about yourself!

I'm a 26-year-old developer originally from Brazil. I started my programming journey as a teenager, creating small games with Macromedia Flash. Nowadays, I'm focused on web and mobile development, with a keen interest in dev-ops, system's architecture, functional programming and trying new programming languages. Outside of work, I like hiking, going to the gym and traveling.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the software industry?

Building things, seeing them grow and develop into big projects always gave me a feeling of accomplishment that I didn't get anywhere else. At first, I tried finding that in arts, but programming allowed me to build experiences and evolve them incrementally, from really small parts, piece by piece.

What do you do to provide yourself a good work-life balance?

Since I work with technology, I like to have moments where I disconnect and don't look at any screens. Be it socializing, exploring nature or doing sports. I find these moments to be very important to get my mind off work.

If you could work from anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Spain! Spain was the first country I visited in Europe and I immediately fell in love with the cities, the weather and the people.
