The Challenge
Kartenmacherei’s website is a vast e-commerce platform with numerous products, pages, and user flows. The primary challenge was to implement a UI rebrush—updating fonts, colors, paddings, and logos—across the entire platform without disrupting core functionalities. The site's existing infrastructure relied on legacy code, which added complexity to the project. Tasks that would normally take a few hours in modern frameworks often extended into days due to the older codebase. The challenge lay in balancing design enhancements while working within these technical constraints, all while maintaining a high level of usability.
The Solution
We modernized Kartenmacherei’s design by updating fonts, colors, paddings, and logos, while keeping the core functionality intact. Using a comprehensive Figma file, we aligned all user flows with the new visual guidelines. Despite challenges with the legacy code, our development team implemented the rebrush, optimized user engagement through A/B tests, and maintained open communication to ensure timely delivery.
